Welcome to G2E Asia 2017 and our brand new exhibition newspaper, G2E Asia Daily! The birth of this very exciting new product – a collaboration between show organizers Reed Exhibitions and Inside Asian Gaming – reflects the enormous growth G2E Asia has enjoyed over the course of the past 11 years.
From its small footprint at the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Center when it debuted in 2007, this year’s show will cover 12,000 feet of exhibition space and is expected to attract over 12,000 visitors!
It also comes at a time of great change and anticipation for the Asian gaming industry. In Macau, 26 straight months of declining revenues came to an end last August and we are now riding the wave of nine consecutive months of growth. Later this year, MGM Cotai will become the latest Integrated Resort to open in Cotai with SJM’s Grand Lisboa Palace to follow in 2018. And of course all eyes are very much on Japan as the moment of truth for its casino industry approaches.
With so much going on, it promises to be a fascinating three days at G2E Asia 2017.
